ELLIOTT INITIALLY JOINED THE LIFESTYLE PROGRAM IN 2023 TO IMPROVE HIS OVERALL HEALTH AND WELLBEING. HE LOST -20KG OVER THE PROGRAM BEFORE TURNING HIS ATTENTION TO RUNNING. HE HAS NOW BEAT HIS 9 YEAR OLD 10KM PB. HE TOO NOW EYES UP A HALF MARATHON IN SEPTEMBER.

FIRST EVER HALF MARATHON
I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH BODY IMAGE ISSUES AND FLUCTUATING WEIGHT FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. I WAS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR QUICK FIXES, AND THEN ENDED UP GAINING ALL THE WEIGHT BACK AND MORE. AFTER MAJOR BRAIN SURGERY IN 2023, I DECIDED TO REALLY WORK HARD AT GETTING THE BODY I WANTED, AND DECIDED TO DO IT SLOWLY IN A WAY THAT I COULD MAINTAIN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. I HONESTLY HAD NO IDEA WHERE TO START WHEN IT CAME TO NUTRITION AND WORKOUT PROGRAMMES... UNTIL I MET HENRY.
I INITIALLY SIGNED UP FOR AN 8 WEEK PROGRAMME TO HELP ME FUEL AND TRAIN FOR MY FIRST EVER HALF MARATHON. HOWEVER, HAVING HENRY AS MY COACH HAS BECOME AN ESSENTIAL PART OF MY FITNESS AND LIFESTYLE JOURNEY. IF I EVER HAVE ANY QUERIES ABOUT NUTRITION OR FITNESS, HENRY IS ALWAYS ON HAND TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAVE.
I WOULD RECOMMEND HENRY TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO CHANGE THEIR LIFESTYLE AND BODY COMPOSITION BUT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHERE TO START. THERE IS NO QUICK FIX TO BUILDING A STRONG AND HEALTHY BODY, AND HAVING A COACH WHO KNOWS HIS STUFF, AND ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HIS CLIENTS AND THEIR WELLBEING HAS HONESTLY CHANGED MY ENTIRE LIFE.
I PLAN ON WORKING WITH HENRY FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE AS I TAKE ON NEW CHALLENGES (STARTING WITH A MARATHON AND HOPEFULLY PROGRESSING TO A HYROX RACE).

FIRST EVER MARATHON
I DO FEEL FITNESS IS A PERSONAL JOURNEY AND OFTEN YOU CAN FALL VICTIM TO ATTEMPTING TO NAVIGATE IT ENTIRELY INDEPENDENTLY. YES, I COULD HAVE DONE THE MARATHON WITHOUT ANY COACHING SUPPORT BUT I LIKELY WOULDN’T HAVE ACHIEVED THE TIME I DID WITHOUT THE INVALUABLE INPUT AND SUPPORT HENRY PROVIDED. THE PROGRAMMING AND COACHING ADOPTS A HOLISTIC APPROACH WHICH IS ADAPTABLE TO BUSY LIFESTYLES. HENRY PROVIDES SUPPORT NOT JUST FROM A PHYSICAL BUT ALSO PSYCHOLOGICAL AND NUTRITIONAL STANCE WHERE I WOULD ARGUE HE TAKES THE EDGE OVER OTHER COACHES. FOR ME, THE WEEKLY CHECK-INS WEREN’T REQUIRED TO KEEP ME ACCOUNTABLE, BUT TO ADDRESS DOUBTS, DIFFICULTIES AND WINS, ALTERING PLANS, ATTITUDES AND APPROACHES IN RESPONSE.
PEOPLE FORGET THAT COACHING ISN’T JUST FOCUSED ON PHYSICAL WINS. I PARTICULARLY STRUGGLE WITH SELF-DOUBT AND HENRY WAS EXTREMELY PATIENT AND EFFECTIVE AT CHALLENGING THAT AT ALL TIMES.
TILLY IS NOW IN TRAINING FOR HER NEXT MARATHON THIS OCTOBER, LISBON 2025.

NIKKI AND LEANNE CELEBRATED YET ANOTHER MILESTONE ON THEIR JOURNEY TO THE GREAT NORTH RUN IN SEPTEMBER AND LONDON MARATHON IN APRIL. LEANNE RAN HER FIRST 5KM IN 2023 IN 39:18, CUTTING THIS DOWN TO JUST 27:39 BEFORE TRAINING FOR THE BIGGER DISTANCES.
